Indivisible : stories of American community. Alaskan fishing communities, records, 1999-2001.

The collection contains records relating to the documentary project "Indivisible: Stories of American Community, Alaskan Fishing Communities" as well as general records relating to the Indivisible national project. The Alaska fishing materials include audiocassette recordings of interviews, working logs, transcripts, slides, 26 black and white photographs, and other materials. The materials relating to the national project include the book, Indivisible: Local Heroes Changing America, paper and computer disk copies of the catalogs of the Indivisible archives (Special Collections Library in Duke University and University of Arizona CCP), a CD-ROM copy of the Indivisible web site, a set of the 55 postcards which are a copy of the traveling exhibit entitled Indivisible: Stories of American Communities, and sample legal documents.

The Dorothea Lange-Paul Taylor documentary prize is awarded by Duke University's Center for Documentary Studies to a writer and a photographer in the early stages of a documentary project.
